APA Accreditation
Dr. Campbell has extensive experience with the American Psychological Association (APA) accreditation process. He served as the Director of Clinical Training at the University of Georgia (PhD, School Psychology) and guided the program through a successful re-accreditation review. Dr. Campbell then served as the Director of Clinical Training at the University of Kentucky (PhD, School Psychology) and led the program through a probationary status, resulting in accreditation. At Western Carolina University, Dr. Campbell served as the inaugural Director of Clinical Training (PsyD, Combined Clinical-School) and led the program to initial accreditation.
Dr. Campbell is familiar with all aspects of APA accreditation, such as creating and revising curriculum that adheres to APA accreditation standards, developing and implementing student evaluation and remediation procedures, preparing a self-study, responding to self-study review, planning and hosting site visits, responding to site visit comments, and annual reporting requirements.
